1, Bookings Please give us as much time as possible so that we can guarantee your travel. We may ask for a deposit of up to 50% of the total price quoted for minibus or taxi travel. Should we cancel your booking due to operating difficulties then any deposit paid will be fully refunded. Ontime Taxi Services and our a appointed agents cannot be held liable for cancellation of any advertised services howsoever caused, and the hirer accepts this condition when booking services. 1.1, Refunds Policy Customers who have made booking in advance and paid either the full balance or a deposit are subject to the following refund policies: 1.1.1, Up to 14 days prior to travel a refund will be paid less a cancellation fee of 20%. 1.1.2, Less than 14 days before travel a refund will be paid less a cancellation fee of 50%. 1.1.3, Less than 7 days before travel a refund will be paid less a cancellation fee of 75%. 1.1.4, Less than 48 hours before travel NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN. 1.1.5, PLEASE NOTE WHERE CUSTOMERS HAVE BOOKED AND /OR PAID A DEPOSIT FOR BOOKINGS FOR CHRISTMAS EVE, CHRISTMAS DAY, BOXING DAY, NEW YEARS EVE OR NEW YEARS DAY,;NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR CANCELLATIONS. THE CUSTOMER HAVING CANCELLED THEIR BOOKING, MUST PAY THE FULL OUTSTANDING BALANCE TO Ontime Taxi Services AS IF TRAVEL HAD TAKEN PLACE. 2 Travel Conditions Ontime Taxi Services or it's appointed agents cannot be held responsible for any consequential losses as a result of any Unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, causing delay to the journey, this could include but not be limited to traffic Congestion, weather, vehicle breakdown, driver illness etc. At time of booking, times and dates will be confirmed by telephone or in Writing either by letter or E-Mail. Any changes must be advised Immediately in writing Ontime Taxi Services will then issue a revised booking, and if appropriate, a revised costing. 3, Payment Balance of any remaining monies to be paid to the driver prior to departure. If we accept payment by cheque, account holder address to be written on reverse of cheque and received by Ontime Taxi Services at least seven working days prior to travel to allow for cheque clearance. Where no deposit has been received by us, the full balance (including for return bookings) must be paid to the driver prior to travel commencing. Credit card payments are accepted and subject to the Terms & Conditions set out below 3.1 Credit/Debit Cards We accept the following credit/debit cards: VISA, MASTERCARD, DELTA, AMERICAN EXPRESS, SOLO and SWITCH. Credit/ Debit Card Payments should the customer pay via telephone using this method then in all cases the original card must be produced and imprinted by the driver prior to travel commencing. Please note that a handling charge of 10% will be added to all Credit/Debit card payments. This charge is paid directly to the Credit/Debit card handling Company and is not an additional fee payable to Ontime Taxi Services. Example A £50.00 taxi fare + 10% (£5.00) total payable would be £55.00 3.1.1, Airport transfer payments - Please note that if a return airport booking is made payment for the outward and return transfers must be paid in full prior to the start of the journey. 3.1.2, Credit/Debit card refunds – Ontime Taxi Services will make a refund against a customers original Credit/Debit card providing that all of the Terms and Conditions contained on this page have been adhered to. 3.1.3, Payment by Credit or Debit card is accepted by Ontime Taxi Services at it's own discretion and we reserve the right to refuse payment by this method without giving reason 3.1.4, All fraudulent activities and attempts to misuse credit or debit cards will be reported to the Police. 4, GENERAL HIRE CONDITIONS 4.1 Smoking We operate a no smoking policy in all of our vehicles 4.2. Food and Drink Strictly no food or alcoholic drinks to be consumed in any of our vehicles. 4.3. Abusive Behaviour It is within the drivers discretion to refuse to carry a passenger who becomes abusive or uses threatening behaviour. 4.4, Damage Any damage caused to the vehicle(s) will be charged for accordingly All out of pocket expenses, i.e. loss of earnings etc will also be charged directly to the hirer(s). A Valeting charge of £50.00 will be charged for any illness in the vehicle. 4.5. Loss of Personal Belongings Ontime Taxi Services or it's appointed agents accept no responsibility for any loss of personal belongings whilst travelling in any vehicles 4.6. Minibus and MPV Booking Conditions: When booking a minibus (5 to 8 seats) the hirer accepts that they are hiring a "specific vehicle" which is a non-transferable booking. Example: If the hirer books a 8 seat minibus and fewer passengers then travel, Ontime Taxi Services will still charge the agreed rate for the hire of the originally booked vehicle. No refunds will be given and any outstanding balance must be paid in full. 4.7, Online Bookings When making a booking by e-mail or via our booking form on the Ontime Taxi Services website the customer is deemed to have accepted our Terms and Conditions 4.8, Fit to Travel It is the responsibility of the hirer(s) to ensure that all passengers a re fit and well enough to travel. Passengers who are ill, or are l ikely to become ill through, but not limited to, intoxication by alcohol or drugs will be refused travel. The driver is within his/her rights to refuse to carry any passenger(s) who in their opinion are or appear to be unfit to travel or would pose a HEALTH AND SAFETY RISK if allowed to travel. Hirers are reminded that there is a charge of £50.00 for a passenger who is ill in any of our vehicles PLEASE NOTE THAT THE HIRER(S) ARE STILL LIABLE FOR FULL PAYMENT IF THEY OR ANY OF THEIR PASSENGERS ARE REFUSED TRAVEL. ANY DEPOSITS OR MONIES PAID WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. 5, OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS 5.1, Agents Ontime Taxi Services may appoint one of it's agents or sub-contract your booking to another third party operator where necessary. Ontime taxi services and it's agents do not guarantee any of the services advertised nor can we/they be held responsible for non operation of those advertised services 5.2, Christmas and New Year bookings Both Christmas Eve and New Years Eve bookings will be charged at twice the advertised rates and in all cases a 50% deposit must be paid for all minibus or multiseat bookings. The above also relates to 26th December and 1st January for all advertised services. Please note that from 22.00 (10pm) on the 24th December until 06.00 (6am) on the 27th December, our Taxi meter rates are charged at DOUBLE RATE. This also applies on 31st December until the 2nd January. WHERE CUSTOMERS HAVE BOOKED AND/OR PAID A DEPOSIT FOR BOOKINGS FOR CHRISTMAS EVE, CHRISTMAS DAY, BOXING DAY, NEW YEARS EVE OR NEW YEARS DAY NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR CANCELLATIONS. THE CUSTOMER HAVING CANCELLED THEIR BOOKING, MUST PAY THE FULL OUTSTANDING BALANCE TO Ontime taxi Services AS IF TRAVEL HAD TAKEN PLACE. 5.3, Airport Transfers For airport transfers we include 60 minutes waiting time, from the time the flight lands free of charge thereafter a charge of 20p per minute waiting time will be payable to the driver. Where possible Ontime Taxi services and it's agents will park away from the airport whilst awaiting pick ups, but should the free 60 minute waiting time above expire, then Ontime Taxi Services or the appointed agent reserve the right to use the Airports car parking facilities All car parking charges incurred will then become payable by the customer/passengers in cash to the driver before travel commenses 5.4, Site Illustrations All illustrations, photographs and descriptions on this website serve merely as a guide and will not be binding 5.5, Changes to Terms and Conditions Ontime taxi Services reserves the right to revise any of the terms and conditions stated here and any changes will come into immediate effect once this website has been updated. 5.6, Condition of Booking It is a condition of any booking that the customer has fully read all of our terms and conditions and clarified any queries relating to them with us before travel commenses 5.7, Seatbelts The Law states that all passengers, without exception must wear their SEATBELT where fitted unless there is a valid medical condition which prevents this. Ontime Taxi Services and it's appointed agents will not accept liability for passengers who refuse to wear their seatbelt. All baby and children's seats ncluding booster seats are the responsibility of the parent/ guardian and must be fitted by that person. We may offer to assist with the fitting only if the FACTORY SUPPLIED FITTING INSTRUCTIONS ARE AVAILABLE. Please note that we do not supply baby or childrens booster seats for use in any of our vehicles 5.8, Deviations from Contract There may be an additional charge if a passenger requests an unscheduled stop or asks the driver to deviate from his route to make any additional pick-ups other than those stipulated in the original booking (minimum £5.00 charge) or any other diversion not discussed at time of booking 5.9, Airport Arrivals All airport flight arrival times are monitored and there is no extra cost to the customer should a flight be delayed. However, any major delay of over three hours may result in passangers having to wait whilst Ontime Taxi Services reschedule pickup times but in this case any waiting time will be kept to a minimum. 5.10, Missed Flights If passengers miss their return flight to the U.K the passenger agrees to contact us immediately. It is agreed that there will be no extra cost involved providing the passenger advises us at l east two hours before the scheduled arrival of that flight. Where the passenger fails to advise Ontime Taxi Services of their missed flight, a charge of £30 per hour plus expenses will be charged to the customer up to a maximum limit of £200. This charge is in addition to the fare paid. 5.11, Waiting Time Waiting time from any UK collection address is limited to 10 minutes after the original booking time. Inability to make contact with the client either by telephone or house contact will result in the driver and the hired vehicle being withdrawn and the hirer being held responsible for the full hire cost of that vehicle. 5.12, Luggage We class luggage (cases) as standard size 30x24 inches approx Our pricing structure depends on the size of the vehicle and number of passengers carried. The driver will have the right to refuse any passengers who have excess luggage which would result in the vehicle becoming unsafe whilst in transit. The passenger(s) should make sure that the correct sized vehicle is booked according to the guidelines set out and to notify us of any excess luggage. The driver will kindly assist you to load your luggage if you prefer, but is not responsible for any damage to passengers luggage. 5.13, Airport transfer cancellations A customer who decides to cancel a pre-booked Airport Transfer, must give us a minimum 12 hours notice. The customer/hirer agrees to pay the full one way cost to Ontime Taxi Services for failure to give at least 12 hours cancellation notice. 5.14, Booking Acceptance Booking a service provided by Ontime Taxi Services or our agents constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. 5.15, Surcharges Please note that a surcharge of £5.00 will be chargeable on all Airport transfers between the hours of 11pm and 6am (23.00 hours and 06.00 hours). This charge applies where we pick up the customer from or after 11pm or before 6am from either or both a U.K. address or Airport. 5.16, Discounts Ontime Taxi Services may give discounts to regular customers (private or commercial) at our discretion. Any discount given will depend on regular use of our services and will not be binding in Ontime Taxi Services accepting work from any private or commercial customer. 5.17, Commercial Accounts All commercial account users must have read and accepted all of the Terms and Conditions contained on this website and completed an account application. 5.18 Commercial Account payment terms All accounts are net 14 days from date of TRAVEL 5.19, Debt Recovery Ontime Taxi Services reserves the right to pursue through whatever legal or lawful procedures it deems necessary to recover all monies, fees and out of pocket expenses owed to either Ontime Taxi Service or it's appointed agents and representatives. 5.20, Airport Transfers Where a booking has been accepted for a specified Airport, Ontime Taxi Services reserves the right to charge an additional fee where an aircraft has been diverted to an alternative Airport. The following conditions will also apply: 5.20.1, If Ontime Taxi Services or an appointed agents vehicle has already arrived at the pick-up Airport for example Stansted and the aircraft is diverted to Gatwick, then we reserve the right to charge the full one way price in addition to that already paid to travel to Gatwick to pick up the customer. This price may be more than that specified to cover the additional distance from any given Airport. 5.20.2, If the customer decides to arrange another means of travel home other than a service provided by Ontime Taxi Services no refund will be given. This also applies if our driver has already arrived at the original Airport and the customer arranges alternative transport home. 5.20.3, Ontime Taxi Services reserves the right to refuse to pick up passengers from alternative Airports where there are insufficient means to do so. This may include but not be limited to driver/ vehicle availability or other bookings which conflict with such availability. 5.20.4, If Ontime Taxi Services agree to pick up from an alternative Airport then the quoted price must be paid to the driver before travel commences. Any additional costs i.e. parking etc must also be paid by the customer prior to travel. 5.21, Christmas Eve and New Years Eve bookings All deposits and monies paid for these dates WILL NOT BE REFUNDABLE where the customer decides to cancel or alter a booking already made and accepted by Ontime Taxi Services or it's appointed agents. 5.22, Unclaimed Luggage Unclaimed luggage, valuables, child seats or monies paid in the form of deposits or overpayments must be collected from Ontime Taxis Services within 3 (three) months of notification or travel by either party. After this period Ontime Taxi Services reserves the right to dispose of these items. 5.23, Waiting time: Ontime Taxi Services charge a rate of £20.00 per hour waiting time for the following: 5.23.1, We allow a maximum of 15 minutes waiting time for pre-arranged pick-ups from private or business addresses (excluding airport pick-ups). After 15 minutes we will charge £5.00 for every 15 minutes waiting time. 5.23.2. We reserve the right to refuse to wait (after 15 minutes) where other follow-on bookings may suffer as a result of having to wait for customers 5.23.3. Waiting charges must be paid prior to departure 5.24, Extreme Conditions Ontime Taxi Services and our appointed agents reserve the right to cancel services where there are severe or extreme weather conditions. 6, Force Majeure 6.1 Neither party shall be liable in damages or have the right to terminate this Agreement for any delay or default in performing hereunder if such delay or default is caused by conditions beyond its control including, but not limited to Acts of God, Government restrictions (including the denial or cancellation of any export or other necessary license), wars, insurrections and/or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the party whose performance is affected. 6.2. Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance under this Agreement (other than for delay in the payment of money due and payable hereunder) to the extent said failures or delays are proximately caused (I) by causes beyond that party's reasonable control and occurring without its fault or negligence, including, without limitation, failure of suppliers, subcontractors, and carriers, or party to substantially meet its performance obligations under this Agreement, provided that, as a condition to the claim of nonliability, the party experiencing the difficulty shall give the other prompt written notice, with full details following the occurrence of the cause relied upon. Dates by which performance obligations are scheduled to be met will be extended for a period of time equal to the time lost due to any delay so caused. 6.3, Ontime Taxi Services or it's appointed agents failure to perform any of it's services as a result of conditions beyond its control such as, but not limited to, war, strikes, fires, floods, acts of God, governmental restrictions, power failures, or damage or destruction of any network facilities or servers, shall not be deemed a breach of any booking Agreement. 7, Copyright This website is protected by copyright.
